Dr. Sanders is joining Brentwood Pediatrics in August 2011. He grew up in Tullahoma, TN and received his bachelor’s degree at Vanderbilt University. He went on to receive his medical degree at the University of Tennessee in Memphis. Deciding for a change in scenery, he moved to Tucson, AZ, where he is completing his pediatric residency at the University of Arizona.
He has been married to his wife, Emily, since 2008. She has worked as a special education teacher as well as a coordinator for a non-profit that promotes early literacy in preschool children. Together, they have developed a passion for encouraging the joy of reading in the community. They’ve spent time together volunteering in Rwanda. He also enjoys staying active, including running and taking walks with his two energetic dogs.
Dr. Sanders and his wife are both looking forward to moving back to Nashville to be closer to friends and family, as well as living in an amazing city. He will be accepting new patients.
